Fans of the character Lawrence on the hit HBO show Insecure won’t be able to see him during the upcoming season. Issa Rae has confirmed that the character played by actor Jay Ellis won’t be coming back for the third season. The finale of last season showed Issa and Lawrence deciding to go their separate ways.
In a interview with Vulture Rae shared that the #LawrenceHive will not be represented this time around.
“We want to stay as true to life as possible. They had a great conversation at the end of season two and it was just about like, hey, she’s moving on Daniel, sometimes we have those conversations,” She shared. “You never see the exes again. And it’s okay! You gotta explore life without Lawrence.”
