Kevin Hart & Tiffany Haddish killed it at the box office last weekend. The movie is #1 at the box office earning $28 million! Kevin Hart has been on a roll. His last four live-action movies have opened between $33 and $37 million. Even thought, Night School earn $28 million, that is still a huge opening. He hasn’t had a movie to open under $20 million. This is director, Malcolm D. Lee’s fourth straight $20 million plus opening too! He also directed last year’s Girl Trip.
Just for a heads up, this weekend Venom and A Star Is Born open so Night School will probably drop to #3 or #4 but it should still make some serious money. Go Kevin, Tiffany and Malcolm! YES!
