Are you a Netflix user? Wither you pay for it or you’re on someone else’s subscription, Netflix has decided to raise their subscription prices between 13% – 18% depending on what plan you have. That means the most popular plan cost will now cost about $156 per year! So that’s $13 a month, which is up from $11 a month.
Analysts believe that the public will still pay for the service with the price increase. Netflix stated that they are raising prices to bring more high-quality content like Orange Is The New Black, Stranger Things, or the hit movie, Bird Box. Now the interesting part of this is that Netflix is the most expensive video streaming services. Hulu is $11.99 a month, CBS All Access is $9.99 and Amazon Prime is $8.99 a month. Plus there are going to be several more video streaming services hitting the market by the end of the year, including Disney which will include all of their Marvel content that Disney is pulling from Netflix.
