Chicago rapper #LilDurk took to social media to announce that he would be turning himself into jail. He was wanted for a connection to a parking lot shootout at the Varsity in Atlanta. The shooting shut down the street for hours!
One person by the name of Alexander Witherspoon was injured during the shooting with a critical gunshot wound. #Durk is now being charged with criminal attempt to commit murder, possession of firearm by a convicted felon, possession of firearm during commission of a felony and gang activity.
Last night, reports date the rapper turned himself in around 9pm. He recently parted ways with his record label, #DefJam and fans are assuming the shooting had everything to do with it. We are hoping things play out well for the rapper and we’ll keep his family lifted during this time.
