A picture of a father kneeling to change his toddler went viral on social media a few weeks ago. Sometimes, dads have to get really creative when it comes to changing their children’s diaper in public restrooms. Well, #Pampers decided that it’s time for a change.
Now, the company states that it will start the initiative to install 5,000 changing tables in men’s restrooms all over the United States and Canada. This initiative is a part of their new ad campaign that will show fathers sharing a special moment with their child during a diaper change.
While this is a brilliant idea, there are millions of men’s restrooms around the world that may need the same assistance. But Pampers will follow the lead of Koala Kare, the changing table company, and install the tables in “high-need” locations first. Locations like big cities, parks and libraries will be on the list.
We are loving this new dynamic of fathers having the same resources as mothers.
