We all love to see our leaders invest into the future of our youth. This producer made a vow to Promise Academy’s graduating seniors that he would give them all internship opportunities after they complete their first year of college.
#PharrellWilliams was invited to be the commencement speaker for the 2019 ceremony at Promise Academy in #Harlem New York. Families and friends gathered to hear the mogul speak words of encouragement to the seniors and how to navigate through the next steps of their journey. They were all in for a surprise when he stated that he was going to provide an internship opportunity to help establish a stepping stone for their success into the next chapter.
#Pharrell is known for a lot of his philanthropic work and always speaking on issues to the masses. Recently, he teamed up with #Verizon to introduce a tech-focused music curriculum throughout schools in the United States. We love what Mr. Williams is doing for the community and we know the graduates will make him proud.
