Police in Concord, North Carolina are investigating a shooting that left former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Anthony Wright hospitalized recently. Cops believe that Wright was shot multiple times by his girlfriend’s ex boyfriend.
According to police reports the 43-year-old Wright and William Moses Hooker Jr. got into an altercation after Hooker dropped his daughter off at her Mother’s home and noticed that Wright was present at the home. After an exchange, Hooker shot Wright several times in front of the child. After being rushed to the hospital, doctors performed surgery on Wright. He is now in stable condition
A warrant for the arrest of Hooker has been issued by cops, and he is being charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
