There has been an alarming amount of new cases of Salmonella poisoning in several states ,including Georgia, Arizona, Minnesota, and North Carolina. The cause of the outbreak is due to bad eggs that were being shipped out to grocery stores nation wide.

North Carolina’s involvement stems from a salmonella outbreak last April, when several people got sick after eating dessert products at Bullocks Barbecue in Durham. Those products were made with a frozen, pasteurized egg product. The popular restaurant was told, by the health department, to shut down because of the outbreak
