For some, high school prom might only happen once, but apparently streamers get a yearly do-over. FunnyMike’s Streamer Prom returned Thursday, August 13, bringing together some of the internet’s biggest personalities for another night built around the idea of giving creators the full prom experience — formal wear, dates, a red carpet, dancing, Prom King and Queen, and all the awkwardness that normally comes with it.
The event, produced alongside Fixated, was only in its second year, but it already had a lot to live up to. The inaugural Streamer Prom in 2025 became a massive streaming event, generating roughly 4.5 million hours watched on Twitch and peaking at more than 560,000 viewers, according to Streams Charts. Part of what makes the concept work is that there isn’t just one camera telling the story. Creators can livestream their own nights, giving fans dozens of perspectives as the evening unfolds.
For 2026, the prom returned in the Houston area at Imperio Ballroom, with a guest list that included FunnyMike, DDG, 2xRaKai, Yonna Jay, Chrisean Rock, FunnyMarco, Agent00, PlaqueBoyMax, Toosii, India Love, N3on, RDC World and plenty more. More than 100 creators were expected to participate, making it practically impossible to keep up with every stream.

From people getting protective over their dates to ridiculous costumes and surprise gifts, these were some of the moments that made the second annual event worth talking about.
DDG Spent Half The Night Trying To Keep People Away From Seven
If DDG thought taking Seven Craft to Streamer Prom was going to result in a peaceful evening, he learned differently pretty quickly.
One of the night’s funniest running jokes became DDG watching other men interact with his date. Toosii got his attention after talking to Seven, and later Tylil started flirting with her, with DDG standing close enough to see the whole thing.
Pudgie & DreamDoll Went Full Biggie & Faith — Then Won The Whole Thing
Some people showed up in nice prom clothes. Pudgie and DreamDoll showed up with an entire concept. The pair recreated the famous Notorious B.I.G. and Faith Evans look for their arrival, complete with the throwback styling and convertible entrance. That would’ve been enough to make them one of the most memorable couples of the night, but they later completed the story by being crowned Streamer Prom King and Queen.
Basically, they came dressed like ’90s Hip-Hop royalty and left as actual prom royalty.
Ezee Pulled Up Looking Like She Walked Straight Out Of White Chicks
Formal wear was apparently only a suggestion. While plenty of attendees spent the night trying to outdress each other, Ezee went in an entirely different direction and showed up dressed like one of the Wilson sisters from White Chicks. Blonde wig, outfit and all.
In a room full of creators whose entire job is getting people’s attention, arriving at prom looking like Terry Crews should’ve been somewhere nearby singing Vanessa Carlton is certainly one way to stand out.
RaKai & Yonna’s Prom Date Became Its Own Reality Show
2xRaKai and Yonna Jay had enough happening around their date to make an entire episode out of it. Before the prom even really got going, RaKai showed viewers a diamond ring he planned to surprise Yonna with. Then came the flowers, their arrival, and an awkward red carpet situation involving RaKai’s ex. Instead of one cute prom date moment, viewers basically got a relationship storyline playing out live throughout the night.
And because this is streamer culture, every uncomfortable facial expression had a camera pointed directly at it.
Johnny Dang Gave FunnyMike A Diamond Boys Chain
FunnyMike spent months preparing the event, so Johnny Dang made sure the host wasn’t leaving empty-handed.
The legendary Houston jeweler popped up and gifted FunnyMike an iced-out Diamond Boys chain, which understandably got a huge reaction from Mike. Considering Streamer Prom was being held in Houston, having Johnny Dang arrive with a ridiculous piece of jewelry felt almost mandatory. It also gave FunnyMike one of the few moments where he wasn’t responsible for entertaining everybody else.
Tylil Thought He Won A Brand New Car
Tylil had one of the funniest reactions of the entire night after apparently becoming convinced that he had just won a brand new car at Streamer Prom.
For a few glorious seconds, he was completely sold. Tylil started celebrating like it was the best day of his life, only for the realization to eventually set in that things weren’t exactly what he thought they were. His reaction went from pure excitement to confusion in real time, making it one of those clips that doesn’t need much context to be hilarious.
Reggie Realized Streamer Prom Was Basically A GTA Lobby
Streamer Prom already had enough random characters walking around to make the night feel like a video game, and Reggie summed it up perfectly after randomly running into Michael Jackson — well, a Michael Jackson impersonator.
The completely unexpected encounter had Reggie looking around like he had wandered into the wrong server, with the clip quickly getting passed around online. In an event where you could turn one corner and find a rapper, another streamer, or apparently the King of Pop, calling Streamer Prom a real-life GTA lobby might’ve been the most accurate description of the entire night.
The Fits Deserve Their Own Conversation
Not every viral moment required somebody embarrassing themselves. Part of Streamer Prom’s appeal is seeing what happens when internet personalities approach prom with celebrity-level budgets and the knowledge that millions of people might eventually see the photos. Between DreakDoll and Pudgie’s Biggie and Faith concept, Yonna’s highly anticipated dress reveal and some attendees completely ignoring traditional prom attire altogether, the red carpet became its own show before the actual party really got going.
That may be the clearest sign that FunnyMike has something with Streamer Prom. It’s part prom, part awards show carper, part Twitch convention and part reality television — except almost every person involved has their own camera rolling. After two years of viral numbers and even more viral moments, this is starting to look less like a random streamer meetup and more like an annual event people know they need to pay attention to.
