He may be from Wisnconsin but there is nothing cheesy about this production guru. Born D’Andre Johnson on September 6th 1988 in Madison, WI., Dre Cannonz was destined to be the next musical pioneer behind the boards. His parents moved their family to Raleigh, North Carolina when he was a mere toddler, but his budding love for music was already on the rise as evident from his earliest memories of him beating on pots and pains on the kitchen floor.
Dre would soon move onward to master three pivotal instruments the drums, piano, and guitar. He attended the School of Communications Arts for Audio Engineering and perfected his craft to the fullest. Dre intuitively jump started his own group called Main Event Army which includes 2 rappers and 1 singer. Cannonz artistry as a producer soon generated high acclaim as he won recognition from his peers and respected music industry organizations such as winning1st place at the first annual Beat Battle at the university level.
Since those early years Dre Cannonz was landed behind the boards producing for some of the south’s most promising hip hop artist. Dre Cannonz was the beat monster behind projects for Keisha Angeline, Casino Crisis, Big Money LIVE, Young Swift. Dre Cannonz is just beginning to launch his musical platform and understands that his talent combined with determination will guide his path onto greater results.
