If you live in or around the Triangle you’ll get an extra day to enjoy the snow. The National Weather Service issued winter weather advisories until noon today for 31 counties across the central part of the state, including the Triangle area and Cumberland County. School has been cancelled for most triangle residents. Over 26,000 homes and businesses across the state were without power on Sunday. The DOT has done a great job clearing the major highway but they’ve barely touched secondary roads. If you have to drive today, PLEASE DRIVE SLOW!!!
