Have you registered to vote at your current address yet. You have until November 3rd to register. Until October 12th, 2012 you can register to vote by mail or from your touchscreen mobile phone or tablet. You can do One Stop Voting between October 19th and November 3rd. That is where you can register and vote at the same time in person. For One Stop Voting you must have proof of residence where you can use any of the following :
•A current and valid NC driver’s license or identification card or other government issued photo ID
•A utility bill (telephone, cell phone, electric or gas, cable, water or sewage)
•A bank statement or bank-issued credit card statement
•A government paycheck, invoice, letter, or any other document
•A property tax bill
•A hunting, fishing, or gun license
•An auto registration
•A public housing or Social Service Agency document
•A paycheck or paystub from an employer or a W-2
•A student photo ID along with a school document showing your name and current address
