During TheUrbanDaily.com’s interview with Rev. Run and Tyrese about their new book “Manology,” we asked the two fathers what they thought of rapper Shawty-Lo’s proposed reality show, “All My Babies Mamas.” The pilot of the program created a stir when the Atlanta based rapper profiled his eleven children by ten different women.
Given Rev’s success as a reality TV dad on “Run’s House” we wanted to get his thoughts on the issue. The Hip-Hop legend was rather diplomatic and refused to pass judgement on Shawty-Lo because his family is blended as well.

“No one knew for the first three seasons that Vanessa, Angela and Joe Joe were from a previous marriage,” Rev Run tells TheUrbanDaily.com. “Because Justine was so charming you thought all five children were Justine’s. So I can’t comment on what another man is doing. I’m from Hollis, Queens so I understand [Shawty-Lo]. To me you had ‘Run’s House’ and ‘Flavor Of Love.’ Life needs the balance of everything. That’s his reality.”
However, Tyrese was less empathetic towards Shawty-Lo and his aggressive insemination patterns.

“I don’t know Shawty-Lo but the dude need to strap up,” Tyrese counters bluntly. “You’re having too many kids, dude. Straight up. That’s ridiculous. That’s just how I feel. I don’t know you from Adam [but] I have a problem with any dude running around having that many kids..”
The two ended up debating not only the merits of the show but what should be shown on reality TV in general. Watch their discussion below:
