I am team Biggie all day, e’ryday. Tomorrow, March 9, marks 16 years since the death of Christopher Wallace aka the Notorious B.I.G.
I remember where I was the day I found out he died. It was spring break by senior year in college. I was in Miami with friends at breakfast. When we were told the news we didn’t believe it at first, but when we realized it was true we were saddened. Little did we know then that the death of Biggie, following just months after the death of Tupac, would change the landscape of hip hop. In celebration of Mr. Frank White himself I am sharing this playlist with you … and encouraging you to share your Biggie stories.
