The NSAW Celebrity Basketball All-Star Classic is a New School Alumni Weekend event that will bring together athletes and spectators alike for an exciting night of friendly-rival, high energy, basketball action! Basketball alumni from Hillside, Southern, Riverside, Northern, Jordan and Durham School of Arts will reunite for a highly anticipated game for bragging rights and to see who’s still got it.
The game will take place Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Riverside High School, located at 3218 Rose of Sharon Rd in Durham. The NSAW Celebrity Basketball All-Star Classic will begin at 7PM. There will be live performances, concessions and a live DJ to play the soundtrack for the evening.
The teams will be divided into an Eastern & Western division with 3 schools per side. The East Division will consist of Southern, Riverside & Durham School of Arts. The West Division will consist of Hillside, Northern & Jordan.
This basketball game is the kick off for the 1st Annual New School Alumni Weekend will take place Thursday, May 15 through Sunday, May 18, 2014. NSAW is designed to bring recent alumni together for a weekend of fun, reflection, competition and socializing. The weekend will also include a golf classic, bowling event, cultural arts festival, party and cookout/softball challenge.
