Michael Jackson‘s estate, in conjunction with EPIC records, is planning on the release of a second posthumous album named Xscape, which will be hitting stores on May 13th.
L.A. Reid – Epic Records Chairman and CEO – is the album’s executive producer, and was granted access to 4 decades of past work from the POP ICON. The album will include 8 new “contemporized” songs, produced by the likes of Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Stargate and John McClain.
There will also be a deluxe edition, which will include the original versions of the songs. You can pre-order the standard and Deluxe Editions April 1st on iTunes (Smarturl.it/xscape) and other retailers.
John Branca and John McClain, co-executors of the Estate of Michael Jackson said:
