In light of all the community disparities and national tragedies, Radio One Raleigh coordinated with several organizations to conduct a town hall meeting at North Carolina Central University.
The “Be The Change” town hall meeting addressed problems in the 919 community and focused on coming up with solutions to questions from the community. Some of the key issues discussed were surrounding rebuilding the community, police accountability, and economic growth in the black community.
