After the unexpected death of Prince, many have been scrambling to get their hands on his music, including TIDAL’s own Jay Z, who offered $40 Million to Prince’s estate to have the rights to his catalog.
Prince’s estate has declined the offer and sources have also reported that the estate wants to be compensated for the use of 15 of Prince’s albums being on TIDAL right after his passing. The estate claims that was never agreed upon and is seeking to collect.
