Kentucky Woman Swipes $26,000 Worth Of Girl Scout Cookies

We all have our favorite when it comes to Girl Scout cookies. A woman in Kentucky got a little too carried away with her addiction to the sweet treats. Police say she boosted tens of thousands of dollars worth of Girl Scout cookies between February and March of this year.

The woman named Leah Ann Vick stole the cookies from her own troop and Girl Scout officials aren’t sure how it all went down. According to police, Vick was the leader of several troops in Kentucky, but was giving false reports of girls who were actually participating in the organization. By giving Girl Scout leaders fake names and reports she was able to get about $26,000 worth of cookies.

I’m sure that her plan was to get the cookies, sell them, and keep the profits for herself. Unfortunately, things didn’t quite go that way…

Don’t get me wrong… I love the Caramel Delights just as much as the next person, but I will NOT be going to jail for them!
