Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is in a bit of hot water after what many are saying were sexist comments made to a reporter during a press conference this week. Newton laughed at the reporter after she asked him a question about the routes that his receivers were running during a game. He said it was “funny to hear” a female asking the question.

Panthers director of communications Steven Drummond said in a statement that he spoke with Newton and Rodrigue “and I know they had a conversation where he expressed regret for using those words. We strive as a department to make the environment for media comfortable for everyone covering the team.” Rodrigue said in a statement that Newton did not apologize.

Do you think Cam was wrong for what he said?
