Lil Wayne has been ordered by a judge to pay $5,000 a month in child support for a child that he claims is not his. Wayne says that he never slept with the 15-year-old child’s mother. Weezy has filed a motion for a new trial and is asking the judge to set aside the child support order until paternity is resolved.
In 2017 the woman filed court documents claiming that she and Wayne had intercourse back in 2001 and she subsequently gave birth to her son in February 2002.
Last year Wayne was scheduled to show up in court so his side could be heard, but he skipped the hearing. The judge ruled in favor of the child’s mother and ordered the rapper to pay her $5,000 a month to cover medical insurance for the teen.
Court documents that were recently released reveal that Wayne claims “I did not engage in a sexual relationship with Keiotia Watson in June of 2001 or at any other time. I do not believe it is possible that I am the biological father of Dwayne Brown. I have never acknowledged Dwayne Brown as my son, nor was I ever made aware of his birth until I was served with the petition filed in August. “I am the loving father of four (4) children, all of whom I provided support for since birth. Up until now, I have never been involved in a child support case.”
A hearing for next month has been scheduled.
