Tuesday morning DMX was taken into custody in a Manhattan court for violating his probation. Remember X was supposed to be in rehab while out on bail during his recent tax evasion case? Well, looks like he never went to the rehab facility or attempted to sober up for that matter, because he failed his drug test. It wasn’t just one drug the rapper tested positive for, though. Nope, try 3, including opiates, cocaine, and oxycodone.
After testing positive for the three drugs, X’s judge ruled him a flight risk, saying that he told a “great big lie” when he agreed to the bail terms. He had previously been given leeway to make it to shows, but now that’s over! DMX’s attorney, Murray Richman, says that he is going it try to get the the rapper back into a rehab facility and states, “I’m saddened and disappointed.” However, he is only sentenced until March.
