Wanna be Rae Carruth for Halloween? You’re sick. But, the NFL wants no part of your tasteless attempt at dark humor.

The NFL has blocked fans from ordering customized Carruth jerseys on NFLShop.com — continuing the policy of banning controversial names on licensed merch.

The NFL has decided to ban all sales of jerseys paying homage to convicted murderer Rae Carruth.

Earlier today Carruth was released from prison after serving 18 years for conspiracy to commit murder, attempting to destroy an unborn child and discharging a firearm into occupied property during a shooting that killed his pregnant girlfriend.

Carruth joins Aaron Hernandez and O.J. Simpson on the list of former NFL stars who can not have their name on authentic NFL jerseys.
