Chase Media in association with Durham Parks and Recreation presents K97.5 Brian Dawson’s Youth Music & Entertainment Seminar, Tuesday, May 18 in celebration of Durham’s longest running cultural arts festival, the 41st Annual Bimbe Celebration.
This event is designed to prepare the youth for career opportunities in music, media and entertainment. The panel will focus on a range of topics including how to get airplay, marketing, promotions, management, advertising, online sales, web presence, artist development, as well as careers in music and entertainment and more.
Panelists and special invited for the seminar include (but not limited to): Dr. Derek Greenfield, Warren Ballentine, Wade Banner, Shena J, Skaz Digga, Big Tru, DY-Nasty, Sulaiman Mausi, Mike Nice, Dick Hodgin & more.
We are inviting parents and youth, as well as aspiring artists.
This event is free and open to the public.
It takes place at North Carolina Central University in the New School of Education Auditorium.
