TMZ is reporting that Jaleel White will not face domestic battery charges in an incident involving the mother of his child.
Bridget Hardy had accused the actor of punching and slapping her, but according to the Web site, there was not enough evidence for the LAPD to go forward with the case.
White’s attorney Philip Cohen says Hardy’s “credibility and timing” in the matter were called into question because she waited several weeks to report the incident.
Jaleel — best known for playing Steve Urkel on the sitcom “Family Matters” — denied there was any abuse.
