This might be the craziest thing that I have seen all year! Democratic Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton and New York Mayor Bill de Blasio attended a comedy show recently where Bill officially endorsed Hillary as his choice to be the next President of the US.
The jokes were flowing pretty smoothly…until de Blasio made a joke about “running on CP time”. If you don’t know what “CP Time” is, it stands for colored people’s time and is a stereotypical phrase used to describe black people who are always late to something.
The exchange went a little something like this…
de Blasio: “So I come blazing, with heavy artillery, for the Queen of the Democrats, my homegirl Hillary.”
Clinton: “Thanks for the endorsement, Bill. Took you long enough. Sorry Hillary, I was running on CP [Colored People’s] time.”
