Last night Raleigh native and Washington Wizards point guard John Wall helped his team beat the Boston Celtics in a double-overtime game. After the game Wall dedicated the victory to his 6-year-old friend Damiyah Telemaque-Nelson who recently passed away from Burkitt’s lymphoma.
Wall and Miyah became friends through a Facebook post where someone said that Miyah wanted to meet Nicki Minaj. Since Wall and Nicki have mutual friends he made a few phone calls and set it up for her dream to come true. Not only did Miyah get to meet Nicki, the Pink one also hooked her up with a custom pink wig.
