After being M.I.A for the last six years VH1 will is bringing back the Hip Hop Honors next month. As I reported previously, this year’s show will pay homage to women in Hip Hop who have paved the way for the next generation of female superstars.
The show will be filmed in New York City at the Lincoln Centre on July 11. Rapper/Singer Missy Elliott is one of the honorees for this year’s show. The network will bring out Timbaland, Pharrell, Nelly Furtado, Fatasia, Remy Ma, Keshia Cole, Fat Joe and more to salute the Virginia native.
