Legendary Hip Hop group A Tribe Called Quest released their sixth studio album “We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service” last week to a HUGE amount of anticipation. This was the group’s first album since 1998’s ‘The Love Movement’. Also, this was the first project from the group since member Phife Dawg passed away from diabetes complications earlier this year. Since this will be the group’s last project together fans and industry insiders were extremely excited about what ATCQ had in store.
The album is not only getting rave reviews, but it is also fairing really well on the Billboard charts. The album is projected to sell 60,000-70,000 physical units and another 73,000-83,000 in digital streams. Tribe’s performance on Saturday Night Live with Dave Chappelle last weekend brought a lot of attention to the album too.
