Drake and Future have dodged a major bullet in the $25 million rape lawsuit linked to the duo’s 2016 Summer Sixteen tour stop in Tennessee.
Back in August of 2017, one year after the incident, a woman filed a lawsuit against the duo and the arena for hiring her rapist, Levy Johnson. In the suit, the woman said all parties should have known that Johnson’s employment had the potential to “pose an unreasonable risk to others,” as he had outstanding warrants for assault at the time of the attack.
Now, almost 2 years after the incident, Johnson has been arrested and charged with rape and the rap duo has been left off the hook in the lawsuit.
