BET is preparing to bring the legendary hit film Boomerang to their network in the form of a half-hour sitcom. The original film premiered in 1992 and starred Eddie Murphy as Marcus Graham. The 10-episode reboot has been ordered to revolve around the original concept of a successful executive who is a womanizer and gets a taste of his own medicine when his new boss turns out to be a bigger player than he is.
