Authorities are searching for the person that robbed a convenience store onTryon road at gunpoint. Shots were fired during the robbery, but no one was injured.
When officials spotted the vehicle believed to be used in the robbery,they tried to stop it but the driver took off and crashed on Lake Wheeler Road, near Interstate 40. The vehicle’s occupants then took off on foot.
Police said they caught a couple suspects but are still searching for more. The names of the suspects haven’t been released
