You can add your electricity bill to the list of things that are increasing in price. Progress Energy announced earlier today that customer’s bills will be raised about 3.7 percent.
Even though Progress dropped their prices in the last two years the company’s rate increase was approved by the state Utilities Commission.
Residential customers can expect an increase of 4 percent, while industrial customers will see their bill go up by about 3.4 percent.
