Things might feel a little bit romantic around Fuquay-Varina right now. The town is attempting to become the setting for a new show on The Oprah Winfrey Network entitled ‘Love Town, USA’
The show’s casting directors will be in town on Nov.18-19 to tour the town and interview folks who are interested in being on the show.
The unscripted series would document a group of single people over 30 days. The show will provide matchmakers who will help each cast member find love.
Members of the community are being asked to drop by the Fuquay Mineral Spring Park at Noon on Nov 18 to let OWN staff members know why Fuquay-Varina should be chosen as “Love Town, USA”
Town officials say they think having the show take place in our back yard would help bring an economic boom and a positive reputation to the area.
