Poet Maya Angelou is at her Winston-Salem home resting after a brief hospitalization according to her doctor .
Doctors say that they have ordered 85-year-old Angelou to refrain from traveling for the next four weeks. Details about Angelou’s condition were not released, but we are told that she is now at home resting. Butler University in Indianapolis announced Angelou had canceled an appearance scheduled for Thursday after being notified by the speaker’s bureau.
