There have been whispers about a Drake and Kanye West joint album dropping all Summer Sixteen(see what I did there..?) It started during Drake’s OVO Fest when Ye joined him on stage and made reference to a collaborative mixtape between the two Hip Hop superstars. Then again in Chicago Kanye and Drake took the stage together and afterwards a billboard appeared with the G.O.O.D Music and OVO logos in Los Angeles.
Now Mr. West is speaking out a little more about the project. In a recent interview with Vogue magazine Ye was asked about the project and he responded “We’re just working on music, working on a bunch of music together, just having fun going into the studio. We’re working on an album, so there’s some exciting things coming up soon.”
No release date was revealed, but we are all patiently waiting for this one…
