Rapper Kodak Black is ordered held without bond on two warrants

Rapper Kodak Black has been transferred to a South Carolina jail to face charges of sexual battery. Kodak has been in sitting in a Florida jail cell for the last few months while for an extradition hearing after being picked up on several outstanding warrants. He appeared in court on November 21 and a judge approved the transfer to South Carolina.

Kodak was scheduled to be released in August when he was sentenced to house arrest, but prior to being free court officials discovered a pair of outstanding warrants which included the charge in South Carolina.

Allegedly, the sexual assault occurred at a hotel in Florence, SC in February of this year at a Comfort Suites hotel.

If convicted, Kodak is looking at up to 30 years in prison.

He is accused of sexual battery at a hotel in Florence in February 2016. The address, 2120 West Lucas Street, is that of a Comfort Suites budget hotel.
