Nothing appears to have been taken, according to Kammie Michael, Durham police spokeswoman. The suspect is believed to have climbed in a side window before breaking into several teller drawers. Tuition at Duke University is going up nearly 4 percent. The school’s trustees approved an increase for undergraduate tuition, and room and board. Next year it will cost nearly 57,000 to attend the university. About 40 percent of students now receive need-based financial aid, which includes grants, loans and work-study opportunities.
