Funny man Mike Epps has been hit with a $1 million dollar lawsuit, for allegedly striking a man during an event at the Key Club in Detroit, Michigan in November of 2010.

The lawsuit, which was filed Sunday (January 9th) by cameraman Douglas Thornton, claims that Epps and his entourage gave him a “brutal beating” after he took pictures of Epps and his wife, as the celebrated her birthday on November 27th.

When the cameraman refused Epps request to stop shooting pictures and filming, Epps attempted to “retrieve the tape from the camera” himself.

To make matters worse, Epps’ entourage is accused of firing several rounds at Thornton, who “ran for his life,” according to TMZ.com.
