A man shopping at a Durham Wal-Mart says he left $36,000 in his shopping cart on accident and the money was stolen. The man says he loaded his purchases into his car at the Wal-Mart in New Hope Commons around 10:15 yesterday morning and left without realizing the cash was still in the shopping cart.
The victim told police he returned to the store about 15 minutes later but the money was gone. Police say a male driving a red vehicle, possibly a Dodge Caravan with a taxi sign on top was seen taking an item from a cart…
