The NBA lock out may still be going on, but that’s not going to stop Kobe Bryant from Hustling HARD. Bryant’s deal is reportedly 95% done and will have him playing for Virtus Bologna of the Italian league.
Sources say that Kobe will be paid $3 Million for the first 40 days of the season.
In a radio interview the president of Virtus Bologna said “<em>There’s still some things to arrange, but at this point I’m very optimistic. I would say it’s 95 percent done.</em>” The deal will last for about 10 games and will allow Kobe to return to the NBA whenever this lockout is over.
Bryant still has three years and $83.5 million left on his contract with the Lakers.
The NBA season SHOULD start on November 1st but at the rate these negotiations are going who knows if there will even be a season this year.
