The coroner who examined the body of Amy Winehouse says that the troubled singer died from too much alcohol consumption. Amy’s blood alcohol was four times the legal limit when she died back in July.
The coroner noted that Amy drank an unusually large amount of liquor in the hours before she died.
Amy’s family released a statment saying “It is some relief to finally find out what happened to Amy. We understand there was alcohol in her system when she passed away, it is likely a build up of alcohol in her system over a number of days.”
