Police in Davidson County have confirmed that a 3-year-old girl and her grandmother were killed last night during what a suspected tornado hit their home.
The girl and her grandmother were at home when the storm when the storm hit on Wednesday.
Neighbors say the girl and her grandmother were home alone in the house outside Lexington when the storm hit Wednesday evening. The flag marking the spot is about 25 feet from the house. Only the foundation of the house remains.
