SHOWTIME SAYS…
Shaw University will announce their new head football coach later on today. The school has named Robert Massey as the head of it’s football program.
Massey is accepting the position left vacant by former coach Darrell Asberry who took a coaching job at Texas Southern University.
Massey is no stranger to the Shaw football program. He has worked for the team for the last four years as a defensive backs coach and defensive coordinator. He also coached in the NFL as a defensive backs coach for the New York Giants.
The Bears are coming off of a disappoint 3-7 record last year and hope Massey is the man to help them improve.
