Rap icon, Kanye West, is known for a number of different things – number one albums and singles, his endless rants, having tons of Grammys, great performances, being married to Kim K, and his refusal to smile at the paparazzi.
And up until now, it was unclear why, but while at the Daily Front Row’s Fashion Los Angeles Awards, he revealed the reason he doesn’t smile is because the people from the 1800’s didn’t show teeth in photos and it looks cooler that way.
Yeah. That’s his reasoning:
“I looked at all these people’s photos and they look so real and their outfits were incredible and they weren’t smiling and people, you know the paparazzi, always come up to me, “Why you not smiling?” and I think, not smiling makes me smile … When you see paintings in an old castle, people are not smiling ’cause it just wouldn’t look as cool.”
But Kanye, like Shanice, we love your smile.
