A -34-year-old woman who received illegal silicone butt shots died recently according to news reports. 34-year-old Kelly Mayhew received the implants in a Queens, NY house from a doctor with no medical credentials. After getting the shots the woman apparently started “gurgling and struggling to breathe”. She was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead soon after.
Mayhew worked as a BET freelancer and was apparently with her mother when she received the butt shots. The crazy thing is that after the surgery went wrong the “doctor” quickly left the house and stole the woman’s SUV.
Medical Examiner spokeswoman Julie Bolcer said, “The cause of death is systemic silicone emboli due to cosmetic silicone injections of buttocks. The manner of death is homicide.”
No arrests have been made as of yet.
