Earlier this week several news outlets reported that Future’s bodyguard was shot and killed in his home over the weekend.
Police say that Michael Tanner Phillips was shot and killed inside of his home in Jonesboro, Georgia. Cops are searching for a gunman who was seen fleeing the scene of the murder. Some of Phillips’ neighbors said that they heard arguing and gunshots coming from the home.
Georgia police are piecing together the crime to figure out a motive, and are looking to speak with Future and others close to Phillips for more details.
Future paid his respect to Phillips in a tweet saying, “Rest in Paradise Big Mike Lafamilia forever lil bro #FBG.”
