Young Thug sat down with Sway In The Morning yesterday for a very indepth interview. Thugga opened up about his family and his love life, and also spoke about his beef with Plies and much more.

On the Plies beef:
It would have been resolved if he would’ve deleted [the Instagram video]. I mean, I understand pride. Both of us have pride. But I put a video up about him and I was tripping, frustrated. But I deleted it because I’m grown. He didn’t delete the video, the video’s still up. He changed what he said, but he still didn’t delete the video. Everybody pay attention to Sway, so he know now. I’ma slap the shit out of him.
On Kanye West:
Kanye’s like ’50 Shades of Grey.’ He’s interesting. You want to be like, “I want to be around him, let’s see.” He’s really into music, he really is. He don’t interview you or nothing, he’s just like, “come on, listen to these beats, listen to these songs, I might put these out.” He opens up fast. I think he’s very, very interesting. I think he’s a guy almost every man would want to be, or would want to be like, or would want to be in that direction. Including me. He’s cool, caring, he has a real work ethic. He work everyday like he’s an upcoming rapper.
Me and him definitely got something going on. A LOT of things going on.
On his fallout with Rich Homie Quan:
He did an interview and he was like, I wanna relax from RG and YSL. I think the people wanna hear me. So I was like, wow. So we just stopped working like that. We still got the music, but we don’t really work like that… It’s just a pause. We don’t have no problems with each other, at least on my end.
On Lil Wayne, Birdman and the alleged murder plot:
This man my idol. I don’t really wanna beef with him. He can say “gay,” he can do whatever he wanna do. I will not beef with this man… Him and Birdman? That’s father and son. They ain’t gon’ ever split. I’m pressed up, but I’m still a street n*gga. Why would I jump into what they got going on? But nah, that [shooting] ain’t have nothing in the world to do with me.
