Yesterday we reported on an officer-involved shooting that happened in East Pittsburgh during a traffic stop. Witnesses at the scene said that one of the teenagers was reportedly shot from behind while running away from the officers. It is now being reported that the young man #AntwonRose has died on the scene.
According to Fox News, officers were responding to multiple 911 calls on Tuesday from reports that a man had been shot in North Braddock. Police found a 22-year-old gunshot victim, who was transported to the hospital and later released.
Witnesses told authorities that a vehicle matching the description was seen leaving the scene and an officer saw the vehicle nearby and pulled them over. When the officer took the driver out of the car and put him in cuffs, two off the passengers hopped out of the car and ran, police started shooting at them immediately. One of the teens fell to the ground and was pronounced dead.
