SHOWTIME SAYS…

According to a new article in Bloomberg Businessweek Raleigh is the best place to live in the U.S. The magazine crowned the capital city with the honor of number one out of 50 cities in the country. Also on the list was Durham which made number 37 on their list.

Other North Carolina cities also made the list include Winston-Salem (46), Greensboro (31) and Charlotte (20)
WInston-Salem and Greensboro.

The rankings were based on factors such as education, household income, and foreclosure rates.
Contributing to Raleigh’s reign on top of the list was the thriving social scene in the area. Due to the bars, restaurants and other cultural establishments in the area the city’s social scene was giving a nod. Another good thing that the magazine raved about was the Research Triangle Park and universities like Duke, NC State and UNC.
